Larry B. Alexander
Jones Foster Chairman and Shareholder Larry B. Alexander has been named by Best Lawyers in America for Real Estate Law. Mr. Alexander’s distinguished career has kept him on this notable list as an honoree since 1995 and he was named Real Estate “Lawyer of the Year” for the West Palm Beach metro area in 2014 and 2019.

Mr. Alexander is a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Real Estate Law and the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group Leader. He concentrates his practice in the areas of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development, and financing, representing sophisticated developers, purchasers, sellers, and lenders. He serves as a trusted adviser to owners of undeveloped land, residential developments, shopping centers, office buildings, condominiums, and agricultural properties as well as to country clubs and charitable foundations.

L. Benton “Ben” Alexander, Jr.
Real Estate Shareholder Ben Alexander was named by Best Lawyers in America in the category of Real Estate Law. Ben, a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Real Estate, heads the Jones Foster Palm Beach office on Royal Palm Way. He performs sophisticated real estate transactions for local and national developers, equity investors, business entities, entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and high-end residential purchasers and sellers.

A Palm Beach resident, Ben is actively involved in community organizations and currently serves as vice president of the Board of Trustees for Palm Beach Day Academy, as a trustee of the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, and on the board of directors for Royal Poinciana Chapel. He was also previously treasurer of The Preservation Foundation of Palm Beach. 
           
John “Skip” C. Randolph
Land Use & Governmental Shareholder and Town Attorney for the Town of Palm Beach, John C. “Skip” Randolph was named by Best Lawyers in the category of Municipal Law and Municipal Litigation. As the firm’s Land Use & Governmental Co-Practice Group Leader, Skip focuses his practice on matters relating to municipal and administrative law, land use, and zoning, representing municipalities including the Town of Gulf Stream and the Town of Jupiter Island. Skip also works with individual clients in municipal and governmental law matters, including code enforcement, land use, and zoning.

Joanne M. O’Connor
Litigation and Governmental Shareholder Joanne M. O’Connor was named by Best Lawyers in the category of Commercial Litigation. Ms. O’Connor frequently represents the Town of Palm Beach in a variety of matters.

Ms. O’Connor is a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Business Litigation who focuses her practice in complex commercial litigation including business torts, partnership, and corporate disputes, non-compete agreements, civil RICO, real estate and land use litigation, and lawyer and law firm defense. as experience defending actions seeking certification of nationwide and statewide classes, including consumer claims brought under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). She counsels governmental entities on statutory, constitutional, and civil rights claims and both governmental and private entities on Florida’s Public Records Act and Sunshine Law. Ms. O’Connor is an experienced litigator who advocates for her clients in jury and non-jury trials and appeals in state and federal courts and before private arbitration panels.
